Like it: No cook pizza sauce recipe

We make pizza every week. It might be pizza stone or pizza pan baked, or deep dish, or thin crust, or grilled pizza. Or something pizza like, such as pizza rolls or calzones. We prefer spaghetti sauce, but when time is short and I do not have time to cook sauce, I use this recipe for no cook pizza sauce. (This is not an original recipe, I found it on a blog through a link on another blog, but did not remember which ones and did not write it down…not meaning to steal anyone’s credit!)

2 x 8oz cans of tomato sauce

8oz tomato paste

2 tsp dried oregano

2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp onion powder

2 minced cloves of garlic (I use a garlic press)

Just stir it all together and spread on crust, then top and bake. I use about 1/2 cup per pizza. The recipe makes about 3 cups, so I usually put the extra in 1 cup portions in quart freezer bags in the deep freeze for future use.
